Phoenix Global Academy, formerly known as Headstart English Academy, was established in January 2020 with a clear vision of delivering high-quality English education and preparing students for international academic pathways.
Founded by Dr. Maria Flora Flores Husky, an experienced and dedicated educator, the academy was built on a strong commitment to student development and academic excellence. Guided by her mission and vision, Phoenix Global Academy focuses on providing structured and effective English programs, with particular emphasis on reading, reading mastery, and confident speaking skills.
From its early beginnings, the academy has prioritized building strong language foundations through comprehensive training in English communication, including speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Its approach goes beyond traditional instruction—aiming to develop confident, articulate communicators who can effectively use English in both real-life and academic environments.
As the academy continues to grow, it has expanded its offerings to include preparation for internationally recognized examinations, particularly Cambridge English qualifications. This strategic direction reflects its commitment to aligning with global standards and providing students with internationally competitive credentials.
